More Poetic License

I used some days of heavy rain to practice new editing ideas. I do have some new pictures from the last couple days but haven't had time to look at them yet. This was done using Topaz Simplify- a wood cut layer and an oil painting layer each with lowered opacity and some masking.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
It's beautiful Jane. Makes it look like a painting.

I thought I was having a dejavu moment when I realized that the sky looked painted -- and read your narrative. Quite an interesting processing and one I have never seen before. Adds drama to that sky!

You're using paint really well, I think. It adds drama, but it isn't so 'out there' that it doesn't seem real and connected to its original content.

Really portrays the power of the sea. Great textures in those rocks.

It looks very painterly, but I think you lost some of the detail and power in the surf! The sky looks great, though...
