Flying Pelican with Texture

I'm still up in Portland so am way behind in commenting and it may get worse since we finally found the puppy we've been looking for for more than a year and I will be picking her up on Thursday.
This was taken a couple days ago when I drove down to Winchester Bay to take some pier shots and found the surf so high that I was worried for my car and my safety. Just as I was hopping back in my car, I noticed this beauty out of the corner of my eye and managed to catch him in flight.
