I've been waiting for a starry night when the tide is high enough to provide a foreground and finally had one. I manually combined a shot for the stars and a longer exposure for the water. I like how it turned out. Best by far on black.

Stunning capture, Jane! Oh, how I long to learn how to capture the Milky Way as well as you've captured it here, and to process it so beautifully. The foreground is perfect, as is this image as a whole. Fav, over and over.
