Camera May Get Wet

We are still having unusual clear bright weather so I got up before dawn and drove North hoping to get some pretty pink sky color. It was very very windy so I found a spot off the top of the cliff so I'd have some wind protection and discovered another photographer who was shooting right down by the surf. Later i learned he is from Colorado and clearly didn't know about our dangerous sneaker waves. Luckily he stayed safe and I enjoyed the human presence he added to my photos.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
He does add interest to the photo, but even without him it would have been an amazing photo.

Such a great shot - I can almost hear the crashing. It's interesting how the image appears to have been taken from behind rather than from a higher position - NO - I just realized that I had accidently cropped some of the sky by scrolling - quite different with the full sky. A good lesson accidently learned. :) Haha - tried it again - it also changes the perceived size of the man. Very interesting. Anyway - it's a lovely photo!!!

You couldn't have asked him to be in a better spot -- except for his safety of course. I like the additional of the human element and also the scale he provides.

I love the shades of purple and pink, and having the person in the shot really adds scale.
