Winter Junko by jgpittenger

Winter Junko

I'm behind since I was away from home all day yesterday. This little junko was buried in the branches so in trying to get the dof narrow enough to get the distractions out of the way, I got a bit of blurring on his crown. I still think he's pretty cheerful and cute.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Wonderful detail ... he's such a lovely color. Our juncos are gray with the black heads. Pretty buff color

You set a high bar for yourself. Well done re the DoF to capture him in context.

Great work to get such a clear shot under those circumstances.

Sweet! The ones on the west coast look different than the junkos on the east coast! Ours are just black and white, though I have seen fewer this winter than ever before.

Great shot. You got it framed really well in there. Just a little blur from that limb. Hate that when that happens. :-)
