Fog Finally Rising Over Grand Canyon

We got up at 4:45 AM to go out for sunrise and were met with 6" of snow and heavy fog which only rose several hours after sunrise by which time we were at Pipe Creek Vista. It was stunning to watch the light come into the canyon.
Sorry for not having time for viewing and commenting on your photos but the days have been long and full and I don't want to miss a thing while we are here. Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
When we were there last year, we encountered fog too! So beautiful. A clever photo!

Beautiful! The Grand Canyon is on my bucket list. Just haven't made it a priority yet. Someday soon, I hope.

I love the feeling you've captured here, of showing how standing at the rim's edge and looking out allows you to see the beautiful canyon below, and the rising fog above. The coloration is ethereal in its beauty.
