Jim adds perspective to the sight, massive rocks and a nice sky too.

Glad you put Jim in the picture! Otherwise they just could have been quite small rocks!

Wow...is your knee all better? Are you back to hiking or are you using a long lens? Beautiful shot!

@gardenfolk taken before I broke my patella while I was in Mexico

@jgpittenger OK...I thought that was too speedy of a recovery! I didn't realize you broke in while IN Mexico! Yikes! I ended up in the ER when I tripped on slate and fell on my face in Texas. I had to go to the ER for stitches, broken nose, road rashes...lucky I didn't knock my teeth out. Ended up taking an ambulance back to the ER from the airport when I arrived home due to concussion symptoms. It is worse when not at home. Isn't it nice to have extra photos to post?!? I only do 1 album so I usually have plenty of extra I can use when needed. Continue to take good care! :)

@gardenfolk Nope, this was taken December 26th while I was still in Mexico. I broke my patella on Jan 5th when I was back in OR thankfully. SOunds like you had quite the fall. recently?

That looks a bit scary to me - I'm always fascinated by people who can do that.

Great caption! Excellent rock too - and Jim appears to have squeezed himself very nicely through that crevice. :)

He gives the composition a great sense of scale, and the image itself is fantastic. I like the textures and tones, and the way that mouth takes center stage.
