Trillium

Heavy rain today so a shot from my hike yesterday. I love the delicateness of trillium, their harbingering of Spring, but most of all the sweet memories I have of a dear friend who has spent the last years in a nursing home with early onset dementia. How I miss you dear Maisie and all our shared Spring hikes of yesteryear.
