Photographer As the Morning Light Touches the Top Of the Dunes
Best on black. The internet where we are staying is REALLY slow but I wanted to show you what I've been up to. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is fabulous. It is at 7900 feet so my energy is down but at the same time I am wired and can't sleep! But what a treat none the less. I'm hoping to capture stars tonight.
I wish the photographer hadn't been in the middle, but I liked the shapes of the dunes I included so there he stays!
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
What an utterly amazing place. Sorry to display my ignorance but I've never heard of it before. As for the photographer, he does put the majesty of the dunes into scale. And, if you don't like him there just PS him out.
Wow Jane - fabulous!! Funnily enough I like him there - he's a great indicator of the scale. But I have to wonder what he's doing down there when you got this magic shot from where you are... :)
Such a magnificent capture of these amazing dunes. I too think the photographer shows the scale. I would not have noticed had you not mentioned it. A magical capture with wonderful light, fav!
I didn't notice the photographer, had to go and look for him! Too busy taking in the sweep of those dunes. Lovely shot. Hope you get some restful sleep soon.
The photographer gives scale, but too bad you couldn't signal him/her to move back some steps and position in the right place in your composition! The dunes have a lovely flow to them.
The photographer gives this shot that extra wow of magnificence! Fabulous Jane! I had never heard of this place so just been googling, what an amazing country the USA is!
Fantastic! This is the first night I've been able to use the computer, too for more than a posting. Love what you've done with this. The colors are wonderful.
