Perfect Day for a Swim

The season will soon be over. I am now swimming in my full body wet suit so when that gets too cold, I'll be out of the lake again until next May at least. But this is the beautiful rippleless lake I was greeted by this morning in full sun! Hooray. You can just barely see a buoy in the background on the left- which is the halfway point for my swim to the other side and then there is the return swim. Pleasant distance when I stay warm enough but it sure seems long when it starts getting cold

@anazad511 Coast of Oregon. We moved here for the ocean and discovered it is atown with about 100 fabulous lakes. This is my favorite for swimming...not many boats to run me over and just the right distance across and back
