There is something about river rocks that I just love. Partly it is their sound as you walk on them, partly their color and how much variety there is even within a small color range...so to take them to black and white seemed ludicrous. But @emjay8's get pushed challenge for me this week has really broadened my seeing of tones and textures, so here you have my last challenge entry.
I was down at Devil's Elbow one day a few years ago, awaiting the sunset. It was mid-April, and it was a shockingly clear day. As the Golden Hour made itself known, I noticed the rocks on the beach looked FABULOUS! So I took a pic of them, too. I was surprised at how much I liked it. I mean, they're just ROCKS. But there is something about rocks that are appealing. I found some good rocks to photograph in Italy, too. =-)
