This was taken at Malheur Reserve. This beautiful little swallow looked as if he/she were trying to build up the energy to enter what he knew would be a long term commitment to caring for little ones!
There's been a lot of discussion of late on 365 re to thank or not to thank. I'd like to let everyone who follows me, who visits, who comments, who favs my shots that I am immensely appreciative and that I am overwhelmed with the time commitment of 365 and will spend what time I have visiting and commenting on others rather than thanking. Hope that isn't hurtful to anyone.
What a cute little guy and a lovely photo. It seems like whenever I see swallows in my area they're busy flying and dipping, so it's nice to see one captured while sitting still.
