Seattle Arboretum by jgpittenger

Seattle Arboretum

We went for a speedy two day trip to Seattle to take my cello back to where I bought it thousands of practice hours ago and spent time at some of our favorite spots while we were there. One is the arboretum. In typical Seattle style it was heavily overcast so the light was pretty puny. We went to a new and in process section. I liked the stone stairway.
Thanks ever so much for your continued support, comments, suggestions, favs, and keeping two of my shots on the PP for several days.

This looks like my kind of place! Love your composition that leads the eye upward, making me wonder what lies around the bend!

I like the POV. Haven't been there in decades, but spent many an hour there in my youth.

The stairway invites you into the shot. It looks like a nice quiet place to visit.

Interesting choice of focus on the flower so that the stairs are secodary, even though they are larger. I like it.

@cheribug for resale...for an assortment of reasons I haven't played it in a year and it doesn't seem likely that any of my grand kids will want to play. It feels like my first big practice experience of letting go...a necessary skill for this next phase of life
