I have to say our new puppy has encouraged us to do some brainless quick tasks that allow for puppy tending while getting something accomplished...unlike photography!
Thanks ever so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs, new follows and taking yesterday's shot to the PP where it even stayed a while. Made my day.
She looks so much like my first dog as an adult -- a lab-pointer mix -- who lived til 16 years old, had a pacemaker at 14 which bought him almost 2 more years. I'm SO enjoying every single picture and it's bringing back wonderful memories! Echo was with me from 22 - 38, lived in several states, and was my longest sustained relationship until Jim! Pearl looks so cute and perky here...the sort of look that says (really? I wasn't supposed to chew the heel off that shoe? But it's wood like that stick!).
so sweet. and thank goodness for digital. when i was shooting family portraits years ago, I was never happy to see a black lab just because it was very hard to get enough light on them in the typical outdoor family pose. much easier with digital of course. I can't wait to see her grow!!
