Oyster mushrooms

These reminded me of a beautiful light fixture. We saw them on our hike. We also found lots of lobster mushrooms that we brought home and sauteed with lots of garlic. YUM!

Beautiful capture. Looks like delicate china. One time hubby and I went to Mendocino CA for a weekend and it turned out to be their annual mushroom festival. Every restaurant had special mushroom dishes. I especially remember to oyster mushroom soup.

I like the lighting. I might have squared it off just for the top one as the textures there really come through beautifully.
