Best on black. I realized last night when we went out to shoot the dunes and the stars how spoiled I am at home where I go to shoot the stars alone or perhaps with one other photographer. There were flashlights everywhere and even the other photographers, at least 15 of them, were being inconsiderate with turning their flashlights on and off. I couldn't imagine being that rude so I didn't get my focus or settings quite to my liking.
