That's what you get when you stay at the Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods. Never stayed in the Hotel but stayed in there motel on the same side of the road as where this picture was taken and views were lovely there too. Too the right on this is Mt Washington but the top was in clouds when we were here. Still busy with company. So thanks for your lovely comments and trying to squeeze in some myself.
That is a spectacular view and a wonderful composition. The eye is drawn across the river, down the winding drive to the majestic hotel and beyond to the rise of the mountains. Great capture.
I know that place! I love the red roof on that fabulous white building. It really stands out against the green. Course, it probably blends right in in the winter! LOL! Beautiful capture! FAV!
This is lovely Joan - only trouble is, with a view like that you just know that the room rates will at least double for starters... probably worth it though!
