I have seen many a picture (including in my own project) of the iconic path to the beach. So I could not resist this shot. Then I played with bw which I liked. Yesterday the temp got into the low 40's (F). It was divine. The meal in the restaurant was wonderful. Getting sick this morning well not so much fun. Fine now. Good news is my over indulgence will not show up on my hips.
Now that is both depressing and beautiful Joan! Low 40's sounds very promising though, so much better than those negative degree days! I'm actually betting a wee bit homesick - but not for snow! Glad you are over your bug!
Very nice lines, with the fence buried in the snow. Someone has walked that path, already, which is really a neat capture. Glad you are feeling better.
This is such a great shot Joan...the footprints add a nice touch. Love the fence lines... Isn't it amazing how all things are relative. 40f is still cold...but not when you have your kind of weather. I can imagine it would feel divine!
sorry that you are not feeling so good. this photo makes the outing worthwhile to me! The dark sky with the white snow is wonderful... and there is such a mystery about what might be over that hill... only a few brave souls have ventured to find out.
There is light at the end of the tunnel Joan- daylight savings time this week and longer time with the sun (when it shows up!). Love this shot and can totally relate to the "warmer temps"! Jeff was outside yesterday and he said, "Oh, it's 28 and it feels warm!" Of course tonight we're not going to crack 10 degrees! Love this shot- it's a fav!

Fave! I love these fences and paths leading to the beach...in the summer BUT this winter shot is fabulous. Stark and somewhat lonely...waiting for the summer people.
