A Tree by joansmor

A Tree

The weather was cold and damp and didn't get out with my camera. So I have been playing with my digital scrapbooking. Making a scrap book of the time I spent with my sister last year. I made a two page scrap on my favorite lone trees up on the blueridge. This was from a tutorial called Wordy Watercolors by Jen White. Created my own word brush. Though you probably can read it the brush is the Kilmore poem. The words on the page itself are my own.
This is very moving -- I can see it as a card or printed and hug on the wall.

That is beautiful. I agree with Taffy...it would make a lovely card or wall hanging. Lovely work Joan.

Hello - I am your Get Pushed buddy for this week. I'm a little daunted - you are so comfortable and competent in so many different styles. I see some awesome landscapes - and I hear of your love of leading lines. So I wonder if I can take a twist on those themes... could you take a *macro* photo with a leading line rather than a more traditional landscape. Maybe you already have something on file that you could work with? I hope you have a little fun with this :)

@littlequeenie What a fabulous challenge oh my mind is turning. This is something I can do inside or out should the weather turn against me as it has this week.

I've said many times before and, no doubt, I shall say it many more times in the future... you produce your best work when you scrap.

Beautiful, I have no talent for something like this and am always in awe of those that do!

Thought I had commented on this. I think this is a favorite of mine in this technique.
