We are experiencing a heat wave so as I don't have ac I went for a ride with a friend. We drove to Milton Three Ponds and then headed to Lake Winnipesaukee stopping for lunch at Johnsons. I had steak tips on a Caesar Salad brought the leftovers home for supper. Then we continue up one side of the very large lake and over the highway and got home about 6:30. Waiting for the humidity to leave tonight and then I can have a cool nights sleep.
You are lucky- the humidity never really leaves here. Glad you had such a successful day trip- lunch sounds delicious! And the picture is a nice reflection of your day!
Terrific reflections - I've been worrying about my northeastern friends with this heat wave reaching you and knowing most don't have a/c. Think this stretch is short lived fortunately. Stay cool anywhere you can.
I think we’ve had two weeks or more of over 100 degrees heat indexes. Temps should drop tomorrow. We’ll certainly be glad for that. The kids have been miserable!
But it should be NICE when you get here!
