I brought my lightbox, and Louise brought a mirror. I brought my gourds, and she had the apples. The green tomatoes came from someone at the center. Watching Louise take photos is so much fun. She concentrates so hard. This is my last shot of the day. The mirror had a frame, and there was a line were the bottom and sides of the lightbox met. So, I did a little "healing and Cloning." I have got to fix the date on the D7500.
This is very clever, Joan...well done! I looked as this for a while, aka longer than usual, yet was unable to fathom how you orchestrated this. Far and away beyond 'smoke and mirrors'. Good stuff, well played!
@s4sayer I have a white lightbox which is like a cube of white, Placed a mirror in the lightbox and the two apples, and the green tomato. The mirror reflects the fruit and the white of the lightbox. Now the mirror is not my mirror and has a frame that I used the healing brush on to remove. Hope this helps. I would take a picture of the set up but I lent it to Louise.
Great job- I love my light box and I too have to do a little cloning when I use it. I haven't figured out how to get the corners tight enough to avoid that. Or sometimes it's just the angle I take the shot from. Anyway- love how the reflection and reality are one in this shot!
