My view

I put my ps on the stirring wheel and snapped so not a great picture but gives you an idea of what it was like driving home in the storm last night.
Yikes! Glad you made it home safely.

Not good driving in those conditions.

Ouch! These conditions are simply awful Joan and, sorry, but you really shouldn't be playing with a camera at a time when you need all your concentration. Lecture over!

@chocolatesocks @debbie3108 It was a "fun" drive home and now this morning at 5:30 a.m. the plow guy showed up and I had to run outside (putting slacks over my pj's) to move my car. Ugh enough of this.

@vignouse I know Richard my bad. But you can see the other cars are a good distance ahead of me and I didn't bother to look in the viewer, literally point and shoot. No one behind me at that moment either and going maybe 20 miles per hour tops. Won't do it again. Promise.

And if my friend Yvon checks in - I know, I know my bad really!!!!!

Looks like a scary night!

Yuck. I am SO over winter. Despite that, we are scheduled for 4 to 8 inches of the white stuff tomorrow. Continue driving safely!

@mace508 We are supposed to get some later today, sun tomorrow and freezing rain Friday. Can I click my heels together and be out of here.

@bookthiefsfriend It was at times. This actually was the best of the conditions. Down the road I was gripping the wheel pretty tight and happy to creep along. A few cars off the road all the way home. Been there done that and didn't want to repeat it.

Looks like spring is still a long way away.

@wildernesswillie Our weatherman says that April is a winter month in Maine so that means 2 1/2 months.

oh that is scary, glad you got home safe

Last year we had a lot of winter in April. On May 4th last year I made a big snowman. Sure hope this year is not so long of a winter.

@silverhorn Me too. Thanks for your comments.

@wildernesswillie I haven't figured out where you live. Thinking maybe Alaska? One year we turned the heat on for the 4th of July as the temperature dropped to mid 30's during the day. You just go with the flow. I don't want to be shoveling snow in May.

I live in Wisconsin near Eau Claire. As cold as this winter has been. The people joke that if they moved to Alaska it would be warmer. In the last 25 years we haven't had so much snow just cold.. It just been in the last two years that the snow just don't stop. The old timers always say it has to warm up to snow.
