The eye-catching things in this shot are the redhead and the Nubble... I would have liked that this photo targeted those points of interest. Just my early morning ( or rather, late night) personal observation.
Oh, gorgeous shot! I wish I had time to go back to see this lighthouse now that's it's warmer than 9 degrees. I think both times I was there, it felt like 0 out! We were in NYC week before last. My daughter wanted to eat at Red Lobster for her birthday. It was decorated with shots of Maine. My daughter was very excited to see giant paintings of Nubble and Portland Headlight . I looked, there aren't any Red Lobster restaurants in Maine!
@vignouse When I was shooting this I couldn't figure out why I was getting these blue pictures so mostly I was just shooting and adjusting. After we left here I just did the two button reset. And the sun fully came out. SO I had a lack of focus on my pictures you might say.
@joansmor Ah, I thought it was just me that forgot to reset the camera after use. My pet hate is when I forget to wipe the memory card and I have dozens (or hundreds!) of unwanted pics on the card as well as the few wanted ones! This scene is very photogenic but I can see that it would not be easy to get a good PoV... a good excuse to keep going back!
@joansmor No explanation needed:) I loved it just as it is! I have always loved shots that include any surrounding area. I hate scrapbooking for that reason; I can not bring myself to cut my photos! I like all the extra scenery I guess:)
@bellasmom When you do digital scrapping as I do you don't have to cut your photos and you can keep the original picture. Some of my favorite pages use only one picture at full size.
