I met these gentle spirits- (left to right) Glenn, Sweet and Michael while taking shots downtown. They all agreed to let me take their picture. Glenn is Hopi and Navajo but also a sculptor- currently living on the street but still carries his drawing things around with him. Sweet and Michael chose not to share much but they were friendly.
@francoise I was in long sleeves as well, Spring in Flag can be cool- I think it was about 60 outside that morning. @susale Thank you, I swallowed my fear and asked if I could take their picture, which is a huge step for this introvert. @megpicatilly Thank you so much, I thought center focus since there were 3 but also I noticed that Michael (on the right) seemed rather shy and I wanted to honor that some how.
@jeffinvt The 3 were sitting on a bench and were willing to let me take the shot but I wanted to learn more about them. @sketch2 Thank you so much, I am trying to step out of my 'normal' zone so I asked if I could take their picture and stayed to talk after. I do take sneaky shots now and then. These guys are worthy and matter and I told them that. @la_photographic Thank you, I know to grow as an artist I need to try different things, so this lens is perfect for that.
@megpicatilly Yes, I think that Michael would have walked away if he could. I told all 3 that I was grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and talk with them before I left.
