Juno enters orbit

"F" is for Fireworks in LA. My sister lives near Long Beach and has a spectacular view of the rest of the valley. We watched (and heard) the celebration for about 4+ hours last night.

The planet Jupiter is in the upper left and with the Juno probe entering into orbit this seemed appropriate. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to watch and catch the show last night.
Amazing!

I have never tried to capture fireworks - this is just so beautiful.

@frappa77 Thank you very much for the fav. The whole LA valley was just lite up with fireworks. I have never seen anything like the amount of fireworks before. My shots don't and can't do justice to the 'show' being that was happening on the 4th.

@megpicatilly Thank you so much, firework shots are pure luck- at least for me. I took over 500 shots and only liked about 15, this one being the best thought best to leave the power lines in and couldn't really see to shoot around them anyway.

Great capture @joysabin I have yet to get a firework picture! Good one for 'f' too.

This is amazing!! Not only did you get great silhouettes and colorful fireworks but Jupiter too! You must of been thrilled to capture it all in the same photo!

@cjphoto I was just so happy to catch the burst and it was my brother in law that mentioned Jupiter but I was so excited to get the silhouette. The whole LA valley was just popping on the 4th, never seen anything like it.

@stephanies Thank you, I just set up and just started to use the continuous setting and prayed for some to come out. I have a great deal to learn about night photography but gotta keep trying. The best thing about the alphabet month is I have a plan (of sorts). Thank you for the idea.

@sketch2 Thanks, my son suggested continuous shooting mode and I just went crazy. I just realized it was supposed to be "Juno" per the probe that went to Jupiter.
