G is for Glass but Great too.

The Crystal Cathedral is located in Garden Grove California. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Cathedral) is a better source of information. Although not technically crystal since it doesn't have much if any lead in the glass, the name is appropriate- it sparkles and is amazing.

Wow, it looks pretty amazing. I wonder how it looks from the inside. Is any part of it open for viewing? - I read on wiki that it is currently being refurbished and is closed until next year 2017? @joysabin

An amazing building designed by Philip Johnson.I would love to photograph it. The politics & finances of the church have not been as sparkling as the building in recent years.

@megpicatilly This spire sits in front of the church and was added in 1990. Here is a link that helps with the history ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Cathedral). The church is amazing and quite large.
