Tortilla Flat by joysabin

Tortilla Flat

This is what is on the other side of the road and down a small slope at Tortilla Flat. Much more pleasurable than being bombarded by noisy touristy stuff - at least for me and mine.
This so looks like I picture Arizona.

@henrir I enjoy going south to get warm. The Seguaro cactus near water was an unusual find, at least I think so., being a northern Arizonian.

I thought this looked familiar-we used to live in Apache Junction just below Superstition Mountain -absolutely beautiful photo and reflection

A lovely landscape photo that would make Arizona magazine happy--how wonderful you get to travel the SW

I couldn't agree more!! I loathe crowds and extraneous noise. Very interesting little water-hole with the reflections from those whopping great cactii.

@samae I had never made the drive out this way, the drive is windy but lined with so much beauty. Do you miss the area? I took a course through Arizona Highway magazine that used these peaks as the backdrop- so beautiful.

@kwind The back roads have many surprises.

@tstb13 Very glad that I walked down the hill.

@lanikyea Thank you, the natural beauty of Arizona can be truly surprising. I am grateful to get to see it.

@golftragic These Seguaro just seem to take all of this human noise in stride. Me, I'll just visit for a bit and not bother them.

@eudora Truly grateful for the fav, the little spots often have the best things.

@domenicododaro Thank you so kindly for the fav, I am happy to have made the trip but once is enough for me.

@overalvandaan Thank you so much, very appreciative of the fav. The back country around Phoenix can be just gorgeous.

@haskar Truly grateful for the fav. I like finding the little special spots.

Sorry to be dumb, but what’s a Seguaro?

I can't imagine having such exotic scenery just down the road from where I live... thanks for sharing.

Exquisite scenery. You are so lucky. I could spend a whole morning in that spot.
