One More Touch

Need to grab one more day of warmth, if only virtually. My last night's idea of the full moon eclipse was a bust due to clouds. This morning its snow (and yes it is a 4 letter word!). This was taken on last weeks adventure to southern Arizona.
Beautiful focus and DOF forcing the eye to the subject. Keep Warm!

Love your dov. Good luck with the snow, the same at my place.

Wonderful!

Very nice DOF and juxtaposition of two similar shapes

Great pov — guess I should be careful what I wish for. We haven't gotten any snow. Finding it hard to find stuff to photograph in dead dreary windy weather...so it’s nice to see sunny Phoenix

Terrific shot -

Love the focus on this shot, that is one fearsome-looking cactus.

Really a great shot. Love the composition and texture of that cactus!

Intriguing photo! Like the DOF. Maybe some snow pictures tomorrow?

Lovely textures. Great shot.

This is a cool image. I would like to see some snow because we don't get any! I need to go to Tahoe for that...but its so pretty when it's white and pristine!

I like the way the rock echoes the shape of the cactus.

Great focus on the cactus.

@elatedpixie Thank you so much, gathering the layers and hot chocolates.

@tstb13 Very grateful for the fav, snow and cold go together but ice, I could skip. I hope your weather is at least being kind to you and yours.

@jaybutterfield Thank you, this area is often a shooting area but for some reason not that day, grateful.

@samae Thank you, I guess I should be thankful that we do have snow this year, last year's total was much too low. I am grateful to be able to go to warmth now and then.

@lanikyea Thank you so much.

@golftragic I do have a healthy respect for all cacti. The bigger ones are quite striking.

@kmwilliams Thank you. This one was about 4ft high but still used a wide angle to keep my distance.

@overalvandaan So thankful for the fav.

@eudora Thank you so kindly, appreciate the fav and I think that I am ready to brave the snow again.

@haskar Truly grateful and thankful for the fav. I think that cacti are amazing- from a distance, mind you :):)

@gardenfolk Thank you so much for the fav. When I lived in San Jose (many a moon ago) Tahoe was a fun place to go. I didn't drive back then so of course I didn't have the driving headaches. I'll brave the cold and snow for more.

@quietpurplehaze Thank you a great deal. I didn't think about that until afterwards. I was just trying to use DoF as a tool and of course drive my husband crazy by taking 15 or so shots of it. :):)

@henrir Thank you, they are just amazing but, I'll continue to use my wide angle.
