I 40 through lower California usually is dry and barren. This year the hills are dusted with a most delicate carpet of flowers and color. I admit to taking my iPhone, pointing out the window and taking a shot while driving back home.
@granagringa The one thing about driving this route is there isn't too much traffic. It can be a real pain but with the flowers it was just so special.

@tstb13 There wasn't anyone around for miles and the cruise control was on, helped that the iPhone lets me take shots so easily. I just took lots of shots and hoped for the best.
