Dry channels

High above Lower Lake Mary, the channels were water flows when we get some. Our rainy season this year was exceptionally dry.
Great point of view...I like how you did all the foreground interest.

Thank you so much. This lake is really a wetlands but a couple of years back it was very wet. There is a larger lake just adjacent which is damed and has water year round, also a source of water for the town of Flagstaff.

We haven't had a good rainy season in years, but hey. No climate change here! Lovely nonetheless in its own start way.

Hope you get some rain soon.

Really hope you are not affected in the same way

The ground looks parched and the trees ironically green. I like the overhead view. Nice shot.

This trail (a real favorite) over looks the lake which is in a valley of sorts. The total rainfall for the season is very low but we did have a wetter than average spring so, we should be okay.
