A bit more play with my newest seasonal props. I used Affinity to do the bulk of the edits but ended in Photoshop for the texture layer, a clear platter etched with Calla Lilies. I am continuing my confidence building with Affinity edits so, having multiple programs let me have a soft landing.
Thank you all so very much, very grateful. The best thing about Affinity is the one time purchase cost and also the free updates to the program. It mostly follows the PS template but the size of the finished files can be large depending on how much is done. I would recommend it without any hesitation and there are many YTube tutorials and a book that can purchased as well.
@yaorenliu Yes I do like it. I own an 11 year old Photoshop version CS5 but someday, it will no longer work. I bought Affinity and do like it. It has a few features that my PS does not. It is easy to use. I must remember to 'export' a file as jpeg or it is too big to upload to 365. There are plenty of tutorials available so for a one time cost, I think it is a winner.
@taffy@jo38 Thank you so much. I am such a cheapskate so Affinity's one time cost makes it so worth it for me.
