I went on an adventure today. The Aspens are past their prime but still rather special. I drove to the other side of the San Francisco Peaks along a fire road which had a few dicey ruts and stones to navigate. Thank goodness for my manual transmission, high clearance and patience. It was so lovely (about 65f) that it seems difficult to believe that we are supposed to get some snow on Monday.
I also experimented with the pano feature in Photoshop and the oval cropping too.
Love this! Great light, lines of the trees, colors and shadows. I loved the aspens when I'd visit Colorado in fall. So much so, that I looked at your photo and called my brother (recently widowed) in Snowmass, CO. Fav.
@eudora I am so very intrigued by the rustle that these trees make when the wind blows. I once heard them called Quaking Aspens though not really sure what the real difference is.
So very thankful for all your kind comments. I've found that when I stitch a pano together, it often cuts the image in weird ways. I thought that this oval left most of the image intact.

Thank you so very kindly.
I hope your brother is okay.
