I've probably walked by this lots of times but today it 'spoke' to me. In between showings of my house for sale, I was talking a hike in a local park when I saw this section of a tree which had fallen. I only had my iPhone with me but was happy with what I could capture.
@kvphoto@linnypinny@marlboromaam Thank you all so very much. We had approached this part of the trail from a different perspective so I had 'new' eyes.
This image is, to me, in opposition to your other recent post about trying to find focus. I think a lot of my favourite photos are ones where, instead of going out with a specific objective, I’ve just gone out with my camera and waited to see what fate presented to me.
In this case, I’d say nature presented you with a new angle on a subject you’ve seen lots of times.
@catcarter19@gardencat@mbrutus Thank you so much. The selfie idea didn't hit me until Sunday night after I'd taken this one so I thought Monday thru Sunday for selfie focus.
Good catch! You are often quite hard on yourself. Not everyone would see this- especially since it's on the other end of the log. That tells me you're quite focused- unless you mean subject matter. But even then you have more focus than you think. Good shot!
