We are having a 'good' or at least a normalish monsoon season so far. I had looked at the weather radar map before heading out for a late evening walk with Riley and thought that this storm was a safe enough distance away from us. While walking I spotted several flashes from the storm clouds and tried with my phone to capture some of its majesty. After that last shot, I thought to not press my luck and continue with walking Riley. I did however, thank the storm for its display of power.
Thank you so very much. I don't think that Riley was paying attention to the flashes. The storm was much farther away since we didn't hear any booms from the storm. Normally my dog cowered under my desk and tried her best to be a lapdog, pleading with me to 'make it' stop.
