Push my artistic envelope- bah, humbug! I went to capture the 'Super Blue Blood Moon' early, very early this morning. I was unimpressed with all most everything that I got. The beauty of the moon was spectacular as was the peace. I did not do it justice but then I feel that there are things that I am not meant to get shots of, just simply experience. I did leave to go home prior to the moon setting as I was cold and getting cranky. I had braved the 22f degree morning about 2 hours although I was able to witness the moon traveling through the eclipse.
That was a true gift.
Beautiful golden colours here, and you were so lucky to experience it, even if the picture did not turn out as you expected. All I got was think clouds and rain.... no Blood Moon for me:)
I think this is quite lovely myself! But, then again I am not going to get the super detailed moon capture with what I have to work with. But, I still enjoy the moment, the experience and what I have. Fav.
@overalvandaan Thank you so much. Missing a shot is just that - not the end of everything.
@deborah63 Thank you a great deal. The gift of seeing the moon in the different phases is one I shall not forget.
@gardenfolk Thank you most kindly for the fav. I believe that it is the creative force behind the camera that is more important than anything else.
@megpicatilly Truly very grateful for the fav. I never expected so many to like this. Night shots are a challenge that I need to work on, just wish that the best time of year to take them is also the coldest :):)
@s4sayer You are so very kind, thank you ever so much for the fav. The stars really popped out a bit later.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you very much. The water had patches of ice but still gave me a bit of muted reflection. To just see and experience this moon was a gift.
I can feel the quietness in this image, love the sparkles.
