@marlboromaam I possibly may enjoy mowing if I could use a ride on mower but for that I would need a lot of land as you have. I had mowed my quite large suburban backyard with a hand mower for the last 36 years and decided that when I moved there would be no more mowing and I sold the mower. When I bought my new place and saw that bit of grass, even though it’s small, I didn’t want to buy another mower or pay someone so artificial grass it is.
@kjarn I completely understand, Kathy! I would hate to mow if I had a push mower too. The smell of fresh cut grass just takes me back to summers at my grandparents farm in North Carolina where my granddad taught me to drive his lawn tractor and the big tractor to mow hay. =)
