@mave so many thumbs :) his hands are on the outside in this photo and on his right hand you can clearly see he has 2 thumbs.
Then on his feet, again clearly on his right foot you can see the thumb. So in total koalas have 6 thumbs. They are also the only non-primate to have finger prints :)
Didn't realise they have self wedging thumbs...nor so many of them. Fascinating position. Thank you..your shots make my day...from the other side of the world.
