Trekking Poles by kvphoto

Trekking Poles

I took this shot yesterday at the top of Kennesaw Mountain. My trekking poles are leaning against the split rail fence that surrounds a civil war cannon.
Love that fence! Looking like you're ready for your trek into the Grand Canyon, KV.

The trekking poles look as though they needed a rest after climbing the mountain.

I have a pair, they come in handy on the beach to help me keep my balance.

@marlboromaam thanks Mags… I’m working on it for sure… I’ve got a long way to go still:)

@onewing thanks Babs… I think it was me who needed the rest LOL!

@joansmor thanks Joan… they really do help you keep your balance and present falls.

@milaniet thanks Milanie.

@shutterbug49 thanks so much… these are new ones to me… much better than my last ones.

@corinnec thanks… the light on top of the mountain was very bright… skies were pretty gray.

@fayefaye thanks Faye.

@radiogirl thanks Kathy… I love the split rail fence too.

@bkbinthecity thanks Brian… I took some shots of different cannons but none were remarkable… I did think about how difficult it must have been to get them to the top of the mountain back in the 1860s.

@ljmanning thanks Laura.

@jgpittenger thanks Jane.

@thewatersphotos thank you Gary.

@cwbill thanks Bill.

@ludwigsdiana thank you Diana… me too!

@monikozi thanks Moni… it is a beautiful and interesting place but very heavily trafficked by hikers… I kind of prefer less traveled trails but this trail is perfect for training.
