Hiking Companions

It was so much fun sharing the trail with some wonderful hiking companions. This is the John Litton Farm trail that was walkable right from Bandy Creek campground where we were all camping. The campground is located in the Big South Fork National Recreation Area
Looks spectacular!

It looks very cool and lush, I'm surprised you're allowed a dog in a refuge area. No dogs allowed in national parks here.

@kartia this is a national recreation area and not a wildlife sanctuary and dogs are allowed on all the trails as long as they are in a 6’ lead… you are right about dogs being prohibited in national parks and that is probably true in wildlife sanctuaries too. I goofed when I wrote the description yesterday by calling this a wildlife sanctuary… I corrected my mistake… thanks for your comment... it was a very lush, green place and the caverns were notably cooler in such a hot day.
