A famous sculpture based on the book 'Make Way for Ducklings' by Robert McCloskey. It's the story of a pair of mallards who decide to raise their family on an island in the lagoon in Boston Public Garden, which is a large park in the centre of Boston.
This is awesome Kim. I had no idea they actually had a sculpture of it there! I read that to my kids when they were very little and I remember it very well - I love that they're immortalized there in the very Boston Public Garden!
What a great sculpture - and seen just as my husband was explaining his early morning sighting of a row of geese processing along the pavement alongside the river this morning in earnest and in a line
(It was a lovely Autumn Sunday. It has chance now to the worse.)
i so love this... reminds me of a lovely morning i spent in the park.
