Hedge Sparrow awaits it turn on feeder. by ladymagpie

Hedge Sparrow awaits it turn on feeder.

One of the most common birds that visits my Sister's bird feeders is this Hedge Sparrow, trouble is they don't keep still very often, a bit like me. My Mother used to say to me after catching me out from a fib, "A little birdie told me". Bet this was one of those little snitches.

This little bird was perched on the tree trunk awaiting it's chance to get on the feeders. I thought it blended well into the tree and was quite pretty.
