The Winter Fu-el by ladymagpie

The Winter Fu-el

It will soon be Autumn and Winter is just around the corner. My Brother-in-law loves his open fire and has been preparing his shed ready.

Thought I would LOG this photograph in with you all and remind you of a famous Christmas Carol.

Good King Wenceslas looked out
On the feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about,
Deep and crisp and even.

Brightly shone the moon that night,
Though the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight,
Gathering WINTER FU-EL.

Best viewed with the magnify button above the pic.
Amazing, Heather, when I magnified it, I could actually SMELL freshly cut wood. Nice (and timely) shot.

Nothing like a cozy fire in the fireplace in winter.

@connie865 Don't believe everything you see Connie, the crafty monkey had all the logs delivered and then his Son-in-law stacked it up for him. Thanks for the comments, but no I haven't even got a chimney, what will Santa do.
