One of the highest points of The Thames & Severn Canal where it winds itself through a very narrow wooded valley, known as The Golden Valley.
I had walked about 4 miles following the canal and this picture looks back from where I came. On the left is the River Frome and on the right the canal channel that needs restoration. Go back the 4 miles and you come to the Sapperton Canal Tunnel, which is over a mile long.
