Fuchsia Dependens by ladymagpie

Fuchsia Dependens

I did a search around my Sisters garden to see what plants have hung on with the Winter closing in fast. I was quite surprised to find this one, but had to ask around to find it's name.

I had an idea it was a Fuchsia, but didn't know it's type that is the Fuchsia Dependens (Sunset Fuchsia). Now reading up on these beautiful flowers, it turns out that they are native to the Andes Mountains and grow all year long. So that's why the cold isn't effecting them. Hardy plant indeed.
