An Old Wall, An Old Stile, but a New Direction.

There are hundreds of walks around our valleys and hills, The Cotswold Way being one of the longest at 102 miles with 90% away from the hustle and bustle of roads and towns.

Fortunately for me I live only 50 yards away where it crosses the village street, therefore giving me so many wonderful pictures to capture.

Here an old stile in the old cotswold stone wall has been replaced by a new gate behind, interestingly this was because the sheep had found out how to escape.

Best viewed with the magnify button above the pic.
those sheep have been watching the Border Collie !
like the new 5 bar gate against the old stone wall

This is a lovely viewpoint; those sheep are becoming increasingly clever.

@kathiecb @linnypinny Thanks ladies, I'm sure they will work out how to open the gate next.

What a sturdy and formidable wall! They don't make them like that anymore! And it sounds like a great walk to get away from it all!

@congaree Thanks John, all the walls around here are like that and hundreds of years old.
