Let's go Pubbing. by ladymagpie

Let's go Pubbing.

It's still raining as you can see by the pavements in my photograph, but as I had to go food shopping I stopped off on the way home to take this picture.

Here we have one of the oldest pubs in the area, The Bell Inn which has been severing ale to the local villagers since the 17th century (1630) with slight alteration in the 18th century. A you can see by the pavement on the side, it is clinging to the hillside.

One of the closest pubs to my home, but to far to stagger home late at night. Press the magnify button above the picture to enlarge.
Wonderful capture, love the character of this pub! It looks like it could be a fun place to sit awhile and enjoy an ale.
