A Canalside Parish Church. by ladymagpie

A Canalside Parish Church.

Again thank you for making my second capture this week appear in the pp page, it was the "Even the Canals are Flooding".

This picture was taken about 4 miles east of yesterdays picture and as the weather has returned to torrential rain again, it's one from my collection taken recently.

St. Cry's Church in Stonehouse is so dear to me and I have taken various photographs before. The place where both my Brother and Sister were married, and where I had been in the choir, been a bell ringing and was confirmed as a teenager.

Best viewed with the magnify button above the picture.
Such a beautiful capture, you grew up in such a beautiful part of the planet!!

@linnypinny @elisasaeter @rvm Thank you all, It is a very peaceful spot and the town is over a mile away. The church lies next to the manor and the manor farm.

Congrats on 2 PPs in 1 week. That's awesome. You were a bell ringer? That looks very difficult.

@windridge @kathiecb Thank you ladies, nice of you to comment. Kathie, bell ringing in a small church is just like pulling a piece of rope.
