Hellebore by ladymagpie

Hellebore

The first signs of flowers in my friends garden, and Winter isn't even halfway through. Now every other Thursday morning I have my cleaners arrive and therefore vacate my home. (I know you're all saying you lazy so and so, but would you believe I clean up ready for my cleaners).

Back to the story, so I go down to my friends home in the next village for an hour, and also look for some photographs in their huge garden. I've mention her husband spends all day outside and it's beginning to look wonderful.

Here is one of the first flowers to raise it's head, or dangle as this Hellebore does, I almost laid in the earth to get this shot but my friend didn't have a crane to get me back up again. More beautiful flowers to come.

I can honestly say, not like the snails of yesterday, this is best viewed with the magnify button above the picture,
Beautiful macro shot, worth crawling on the ground for!!I have great difficulty getting back up,too!!

A beautiful capture - I 've never seen this flower and the details you captured in this macro are just gorgeous. (And great story about Thursday morning...it would be the same for me...I would have to clean before the cleaners arrived...otherwise, they would run out of the house, screaming...)
