Blue Moon

It's been a beautiful day with the sun brightening our lives for a change. I decided to go out lunchtime with my camera and noticed the moon was visible.

It always surprises me that the moon is there in the daytime as I was always told as a child that it was the sun for the day and the moon at night. Also there is a famous song called "Blue Moon" written in 1934 and is the anthem for Manchester City Football Club.

@pittcj17 @ianrm @virtualbrownie @thresheg @windridge Thank you all for your comments, Susan I was just walking to my garage midday and spotted it. Set the camera for infinity and it has a good zoom. You have to be very still and lucky.
