From several of my previous captures I've shown that my Stroud Valleys are full of old woolen mills. This is one almost in the center of Stroud. Built in the late 1800's it was a cloths mill known as Hill Paul's and I remember going into it with the owner.
Recently the old mill has been transformed into luxury apartments for the first 6 floors and a penthouse added to the top. This is definitely make New out of Old, with the main station and town center on your doorstep. This was taken from a hillside about a mile away.
Nice architectural shot.... having worked in planning at our local council, I like to see old buildings of interest being converted into useful premises again......
